Lyndhurst Primary School - Where Students 'Take Flight'
Following announcements on the weekend in reaction to the Victorian community meeting vaccination targets earlier than expected, there have been changes to the dates for return to full face-to-face learning.
The return date for all classes is now Monday, November 1st.
From that date, all students are expected to attend on site.
This week will operate according to the staged return that was sent out last week.
Attached is an updated calendar for this week and next.
Preps have attended on site today and we look forward to welcoming our Years 3 and 4 students for the first time, tomorrow and Wednesday. Years 1, 2, 5 and 6 will attend Thursday and Friday of this week.
Mask wearing for students
Please note that the requirement for mandatory mask wearing for all students in Years 3 – 6 still applies. Students must wear a mask unless they have a legal exemption. There are a number of lawful reasons for not wearing a mask. Parents must provide the reason for an exemption to mask wearing. Please note that parent choice or an objection to the mask wearing mandate is not a reason for a lawful exemption. Masks help protect everyone. Students in years prep -2 are not required to wear a mask but it is strongly recommended by the Chief Health Officer,.
We are excitedly looking forward to the return of our students next week! Please do not hesitate to contact the school should you have any questions or concerns.
The majority of communication with families will be done through emails. Could all families please check your emails every day to ensure that you are getting the most up to date information.
If any families are not receiving emails from the school, please email us at email@example.com to correct this.
