2025 Enrolments
More information about the enrolment process at Lyndhurst Primary School can be found here.
Prep Enrolment Information
The Department of Education has a statewide Foundation (Prep) enrolment timeline.
The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Foundation (Prep) at a Victorian government primary school, including Lyndhurst Primary School.
You can find information and resources about the enrolment timeline at: Enrolling in Foundation (Prep).
Student Insight Digital Enrolment
This year our school is using an online system for new enrolments to Victorian government schools called VicStudents.
VicStudents is available for students who are enrolling in a Victorian Government School for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2025.
VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.
To commence online enrolment:
-
Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form by Friday 26 July 2024.
-
We will then review the information submitted and be in contact with you by Friday 9 August 2024.
-
You should accept one enrolment offer by Friday 23 August 2024. When accepting an offer, you will be required to provide additional personal and health information that will be shared with the school.
A Quick Reference Guide to using the online system is available here.
Enrolment applications submitted after 26 July 2024 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the Department’s Placement Policy.
If families could upload their child's Birth Certificate, Passport, VISA, Immunisation Certificate and 100 points for ID for their Proof of Residential Address, that would help us process the applications faster. You will receive a response within 10 School days.
Prep Transition 2024-2025
We are very excited to welcome you to our school and look forward to getting to know you and your little learners this year in preparation for Prep 2025.
Transition is a vital part of making your child feel safe and familiar with their new learning environment. This year we are trialling a new program that will allow your child more opportunities to experience learning at Lyndhurst.

In addition, some of our staff will be visiting your Early Learning Setting, to introduce themselves.
More information will be sent to you which will details which transition session you are booked into. We understand that the allocated dates will not suit all families but due to the size of our groups we unfortunately cannot make any changes.
